Health and safety training is often met with a lack of excitement from staff and employers alike. Yet the importance of the information being taught is critical, training staff members
on measures to prevent injury, illness, or even fatality.

Our goal at MySDS is to create WHMIS 2015 training programs that differ from the stale, forgettable programs that you are familiar with. We want you to leave our training
sessions, or finish our training videos, feeling educated and confident in the success of your health and safety understanding and responsibilities.

Effective July 1, 2014, as per the Canadian Ministry of Labour, Employees Must:

  • Ensure that workers complete a basic occupational health and safety awareness
    training program as soon as reasonably possible.
  • Maintain a record of the WHMIS 2015 training completed by workers and supervisors;
    and Provide a worker or supervisor with written proof of completion of the training, if
    requested by the worker or supervisor (up to six months after ceasing to work for
    the employer).
  • The legal requirements and responsibilities for WHMIS 2015 training and education vary
    depending on the industry, occupation, seniority, province, country, etc. If you are unsure
    of your requirements – we can help!

For groups (2 or more people):

If there is more than one employee in your organization enrolling in a course, your
organization must choose a group leader to oversee all employees. The group leader will
have the ability to:

  • track all employees progress;
  • test scores
  • completed courses
  • a digital record of all employees training records
  • add or remove employees and courses as required
  • print or save all employees completed course certificates (if applicable)

MySDS will happily work with you to determine which method of training is appropriate for your individual circumstances!

Instructor-Led | In-Class WHMIS 2015 Training

Our in-class instructor-led training classes are taught by a team of professionally trained
staff comprising of the company's founder who personally has over 30 years of experience
as a hazardous materials technician. (Michael ‘Mike’ Moellenkamp). His 30+ years of experience in Health and Safety and 42+ certifications provide him the ability to present on
a multitude of different training topics with ease and a ‘knowledge-to-practice’ approach. Keeping his students intrigued with relatable stories and scenarios, at MySDS we believe
that in-class training is the best training method when it is applicable.

If you have a group of staff members, students, or interested trainees looking to complete a training course within the same timeframe, and the same location, this option may be best for you.
